Tucked in the northeastern corner of the evergreen state, Colville National Forest encompasses 1.1 million acres of stunning landscapes, and is bordered by the Okanogan and Kaniksu National Forests. This wonderland contains the Kettle and Columbia rivers, as well as the fabled Okanogan,
and Selkirk mountain ranges.
Little Pend Orelle National Wildlife Refuge
Hidden between the foothills of the Cascades and the Rocky Mountains, this unique, forested, mountainous Refuge provides habitat for large mammals like bear, cougar, deer, elk and moose as well as over 200 migratory songbirds.
Sherman Pass Scenic Byway
Sherman Pass Scenic Byway is a 35.3 mile point-to-point trail located near Republic, Washington that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for scenic driving and is accessible year-round.

Rock Cut Blues Festival held the last weekend in July at the Rock Cut Campground.
Lake Roosevelt Summertime Music Festival. Free family music concert is held the second Saturday in August in the Marcus Community Park.
Marcus Cider Fest. In early October, the Cider Fest is held in the Marcus Community Park.
